Les jeunes de minorités sexuelles et la problématique du suicide – Outil de sensibilisation

As part of the actions included in the 2011-2016 Government Action Plan against Homophobia, the Ministry of Health and Social Services has developed an awareness tool for suicide risk prevention in sexual minority youth. This concise and popularized document builds on a review of scientific literature on suicide risks among sexual minority youth. The awareness tool is designed for workers in the health and social services network and partner organizations. It outlines, among other things, what type of intervention is recommended depending on the context, as well as the resources to which professionals working with sexual minority youth can refer.
